An olive tree with your name on it. We're still building it.
This page is not selling anything yet. It is an idea that has been going round the family for a while, and we would rather tell you about it as it takes shape: adopting one of the four thousand olive trees at Pascianella, for a year.

One tree, one year, its own oil.
You pick one of our olive trees. We keep looking after it, as we always have, but that tree becomes your fixed point up here: you know where it stands, you know how it is doing, and the oil it gives arrives at your door.
Here is roughly what we have in mind so far.
- The tree's record: variety, age, where it stands in the grove
- Your name, or someone else's, on a small engraved plate
- A few lines and some photos each season: the pruning, the blossom, the harvest
- The new oil from that year, in November
- A visit to your tree, whenever you are around
What it will cost, how many trees to offer, what happens in a poor year: these are the things we are still deciding. When they are settled, you will find them written here.
Natale used to say he had a few thousand children.
One per tree. He said it laughing, but he really did know them one by one: the ones the frost of 1985 burnt, which came back from the roots, and the one beside the farmhouse that is five hundred and sixty years old.
That is where the idea comes from: letting you have one too, and follow it for a whole year instead of simply buying a bottle.
